Abraham on Law of Attraction

Abraham (Channeled through Esther Hicks):

"That which is like unto itself is drawn." Which means vibrations are always matched. So as you experience the contrast which inspires the new idea within you, this new idea --this desire -- whether it is a strong one or a soft one, is summoning unto itself proportionately. And as it summons, it is always answered. It is the basis of our Universe: When it is asked, it is always given. The confusion that humans feel is that they think they are asking with their words -- or even with their action -- and sometimes you are. But the Universe is not responding to your words or your action. The Universe is responding to your vibrational calling." - Abraham, from the workshop in North Cinncinati, OH on Saturday, July 15th, 2000.

Elias on Teachers and Students

Elias - (As channeled through Mary Ennis)

"Within consciousness, there are no teachers, for it is unnecessary. For within consciousness you all, we all, incorporate the same information. Therefore, it is unnecessary to express the role of teachers or students. That is an idea, a concept that is generated in association with your beliefs in relation to this physical reality, for that is the manner in which you have expressed your roles for centuries. That is also changing, and that is a movement of this shift." - Elias, from Session #1748

Philip On Channeling

Philip - as articulated through Sheradon Bryce

"Once an individual starts channeling, they have a whole new set of psychological issues a lot of people don't realize which they must deal with. On one hand their ego is in a place of saying, "Well, this is a god I'm channeling. This is a grand experience," but on the the other hand it says, "I'm not worth this. I'm not worthy of this." the channeling experiences will push their worth issues much faster and worse than normal. Anything that you are even the least bit nit-picky about in your being, is blown up out of porportion and it says, "Well, I'm not good because of this. I'm not good because of that. I'm not good for this reason," and then the vehicle will have a tendency to go out in the world to try to find the external validation that says, "I'm okay."

"They are going through psychological shifts, hormonal shifts and everything else because of the channeling experience, which creates a place where they just want to know they are okay. For the most part, there is nothing wrong with that, but it is a matter that they have to be strong enough to find it in their own beings. If they could be strong enough to find it in their own beings, they won't go out into the external world to look for validation. This is the same rule of thumb for everybody on the planet, but for a vehicle in a channeling experience, it's a much stronger rule because everything is going to be amplified."

"So here comes a god and it will push everyone of their unworthiness issues. Since they have all these immense worth issues, those are going to come out in the channeling. If they feel lousy about themselves, they may tend to make the audience feel lousy about themselves in order for the channeler to feel better about who they are. There is a whole set of psychological maneuvering that goes on from that point." - Philip, from The Phenomenon of Middle Men in Channeling, page 396-397 of Joyriding the Universe

Seth on Aggression

Seth (Channeled through Jane Roberts):

"Sometimes you think of suicide as ignominious and passive, but of war as aggressive and powerful. Both are equally the result of passivity and distorted aggression, and of natural pathways of communication not used or understood. You think of flowers in terms of gentleness, beauty and "goodness," and yet every time a new bud opens there is a great thrust of joyful aggression that is hardly passive, and a daring and courage that reaches actively outward. Without aggression your body would be denied its growth, the cells within it caught in inertia. Aggressiveness is at the base of the magnificent bursting of creativity." - Seth, Session #643 from page 205 of The Nature of Personal Reality.

Elias on Flexibility

Elias (as channeled through Mary Ennis):

"In actuality, my friend, even within what you would term to be the most structured establishments, any individual may engage their creativity and generate a type of position that may not even exist. It is a matter of your choices and recognizing that you do incorporate choices, that you are not a victim to the choices or dictates of other individuals. There is much more flexibility within your reality than you recognize. As you hold to the rigidness that is familiar, you also limit yourself. Therefore, allow yourself to view the flexibility through the expression of your creativity, and most significantly, practice the expression of trust of yourself, for this shall be the most affecting factor." - Elias, from Session #1159

Philip On Time Orientation

Philip - (As articulated through Sheradon Bryce):

"Time orientation is a product of physicality and the brain. you won't find time in other realities. If you go to these other realities, you are going to have a rough 'time' trying to exist there! Your watch won't work in these other non-time realitites because there's no elief in time. Your watch won't help you.

"Unfortunately, the past does exist in your bodies. (In your DNA) The body is a composite and archive of your past. Until the body catches up with YOU, it will have all the cycles....The body cycles until you are totally in the present.

"Train the brain to get out of time orientation and back into the present moment. You can't just say the words. You have to realize the intent, own the true concept, not just mouth the words. You must feel intent emotionally.

"In this reality everything is a product of time. Time doesn't exist anywhere else. As long as you believe in time, you are going to come back here so you can do time. You create your reality from your belief systems.

"Your fatigue and tiredness is because you are carrying your past and concentrating on your future. Your power (energy) is smeared all over the place. Your brain says, "It's time to go to bed when it gets dark outside." That's not the body talking, it's brain chatter. It takes 28 days for the brain to catch on to anything! If you could get away from your clocks and watches and let the body run naturally, within a month your brain would not run the way you have trained it to run. The body would run quite differet. You would be on a tottally different rhythm.

"The word process implies a time oriented activity. You make time a process through your watches and your brain. Your emotions are a product of your past and future, not the present moment. Emotions are time based, feelings are not. Feelings are abstract thought, and thought is totally independent of time. For example, fear is a product of time, as are all emotions.

"Most of your defensiveness in life results from (being) time oriented. You are defending yourself against your past and your future and you are not living in the present. Attitudes are time oriented. Vulnerability requires time. It is a space between your defensiveness and the real you.

"Your body will eventually catch up with YOU. It will take awhile because you have all spent your lives thus far believing in the past and the future, not very often living in the present.

"Healing is a time oriented process. If this is the only YOU that you have ever been, then your body was not created from an old you. That is, healing is a process of helping the NEW YOU get into a body that was created a year ago that you don't wish to inhabit because you don't like what was created. If the body is in the present moment with you, there is nothing to heal. Healing reflects the process of trying to get you oriented to time/space and the rule of time orientation. If you get the body in the moment and actually get into it solidly enough and you can feel that strength with it, the body automatically heals because anything that is actually wrong with the body is something a previous you created in thought when it was trying to create a future body for someone that was not living in it at the time. The healing process pulls the body forward into the moment. Only past bodies are candidates for healing." - Philip, pages 21-22 of Doing Time (In Physicality), 1998. RioSabeLoco.com.

Ramtha on Creating Your Day

Ramtha (as channeled through J.Z. Knight):

"You know the moment you wake up, have you ever noticed, by the way, that you don't know who you are, and you wake up and you don't know who you are. Have you noticed how you look around the room to orient yourself, and what is really surprising is when you see the person next to you and for that split moment you don't know who they are? I think you should contemplate that a lot. We spend the next moments before you ever get out of bed reorienting, rebonding with an identity that for a moment we didn't even have, and the identity is that (thing) we start to form when we take a look at the person next to us. And then we get up and we start scratching our bodies...and then we get up and we go to the latrine and on the way we look at ourselves. Why do you do that? Why do you stare at yourself? Because you are trying to remember who you are. It is still a mystery.

But if you have to remember who you are and remember the parameters of your acceptance and the fence of your doubt, if you have to go through the ritual every single day to remember who you are, what are the chances that your day is going to turn out unique?...Very slim indeed. But what if...before you tried to remember who you were that you remembered what you wanted to be, and maybe that came first before you saw your mate, before you clawed yourself, before you staggered out of bed, scared the cat and saw yourself in the mirror. Before you did all of that you remembered something: "Before I bond to the ritual of my neuronet, I am going to create a day that is astounding, that will add to my neuronet, that will add to the experience of my life," and you create your day--create your day. In that moment that you are not yet who you are is the most sublime moment in which in that moment you see the extraordinary, you can expect and accept the unordinary, you can accept a pay raise today. If you become yourself, your expectation of a pay raise greatly diminishes. You and I both know that. But in this one state of nonconclusiveness about your identity, you can create anyway.

So I tell my students, before you get up and remember who you are, create your day. Then after you create your day, your routine will change. You will be a slightly diffeent person staring at the urinal, looking in the mirror. There will be something different about you and that will be a wonderful thing." Ramtha, from What the Bleep Do We Know?.
